DeafBlind Ontario Services is thrilled to have been selected as one of the 20 benefitting charities of the Magna Hoedown!
Now in its 29th year, the Hoedown began as a backyard BBQ get-together at the Stronach family farm. Since then, it has grown into one of the largest annual fundraising events in York Region, drawing about 4,000 guests each year who come out to enjoy some great music and country fun – all in support of numerous local charities.
The Hoedown Showdown on Friday, September 15th from 6:30 pm to midnight is the finals of this country music talent competition for aspiring singers across Ontario. Chad Brownlee will perform as the main headliner! An amazing selection of food trucks and a cash bar will be available onsite. Tickets are $30.
The main event, #Hoedown, on Saturday, September 16th from 5:00 pm to midnight is an evening of multiple musical acts, including main headliner Tom Cochrane with Red Rider, plus James Barker Band and Dani Strong! The evening also includes a full Texas Style BBQ dinner and cash bar. Tickets are $70.
Both events offer access to the Hoedown Junction, a variety of country-inspired games and activities, and take place at the Magna Corral at 337 Magna Drive in Aurora!
Get your Prospector's Raffle tickets for a chance to win the grand prize of $100k cash; second prize is $10k and third prize is $5k. Tickets will be 3 for $20. Anyone in Ontario is eligible to win, and you don’t have to be present at the event! Call 1-855-340-3267 to purchase your tickets!
