Since 1992, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) is an annual observance, this year on Sunday, December 3rd.
This annual day aims to promote the rights and well-beings of individuals with disabilities in all areas of society. Further, it raises awareness about the political, social, economic, and cultural situations of persons with disabilities.
The theme of this year’s IDPD is ‘Transformation towards sustainable and resilient society for all’, with a focus on enabling conditions for the changes outlined in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Join us in celebrating #IDPD17 and raising awareness as well as promoting the rights of individuals with various disabilities around the globe.
