There are so many ways to touch the lives of individuals who are deafblind. The Ministry of Community and Social Services provides roughly 90% of funding for our Intervenor Services. However, our clients require a variety of supports beyond Intervenor Services. Access to resources such as specialized equipment like wheelchair vans, accessible home renovations and assistive devices, as well as recreational and social programs improve their quality of life and offer enriching experiences.

Making a Donation

There are so many ways to touch the lives of individuals who are deafblind:

General Gift

Your donation goes to work immediately and meets current needs of DeafBlind Ontario Services. All donations of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt.

Monthly Gift

Friends with Vision is a monthly giving program that offers donors an easy, consistent way to support programs and services of their choice. Donors receive annual tax receipts for their gifts.

Memorial Gift

A gift in memory of a loved one is a special way to support DeafBlind Ontario Services. It is often a thoughtful remembrance in lieu of funeral flowers. DeafBlind Ontario Services will send a personalized card acknowledging your gift to the family of the deceased person.

In-Honour Gift

Special "in honour of" gifts are a meaningful way to commemorate a holiday, birthday, wedding, or other special occasion. The special person you honour will receive a personalized card from DeafBlind Ontario Services acknowledging your gift.

Publicly Traded Securities

An outright gift of listed securities gives you a donation receipt for the full value of your securities and a very special tax benefit – all of your realized capital gain will be exempt from taxation.
